planning outfits for a photo session can be hard. we want to look gorgeous, timeless, and in style, all at the same time. then winter comes around and bam! we cover up our cute clothes.
tips for looking stylish for your winter senior session
1. color. when everything around you is drab and dead, stand out with a bold color. or two or three or four. my favorites? jewel tones :) rubies, emeralds, topaz. these vibrant colors look good on everybody.
2. layers. i mean, if ya gotta cover up, do it cute right? now i'll be the first to admit i wear big bulky jackets when it's cold, and they aren't flattering at all. for your photos, think fitted coats and textured scarves.
3. boots. ahhhh i love boots. they're cute and warm, yay! the styles are endless. my favorites--cowboy boots and tall knee-high boots.
4. accessories. blankets, hats, gloves. they all work and add interest to your photos. looking good and feeling good.

5. hair & makeup. this tip applies to all seasons. if you're gonna get dressed up and have photos done, i say go all out! be a model for the day, the whole shebang. plus it's really affordable, or else i wouldn't recommend it! need a hair stylist or makeup artist? i've got connections :)
