Wall Art Ideas

Your walls should have a variety of artwork--paintings, vases, photography, obviously! I'm a big big Etsy fan. They have everything! And you can always find something in your price range. Last night I was browsing the artwork section and found this creative designer with gorgeous artwork. And I want it all!!!

I think I need to decorate this little office of mine. Here are a few of my favorites!

Kelli // Maternity Photography Garden City Kansas

You know how they say first impressions say everything? I just met this girl but feel like we've been friends forever! Kelli is beyond sweet and lovable and is going to make an amazing mom. She's due with her baby boy in fall, a week after I'm due with my baby boy! She's going to be one of those fun moms that laughs all day with her little baby then snuggles him to sleep at night. I can't wait for his arrival! Crossing my fingers we're in labor on the same day.

And guess what? Kelli is also a photographer in Kansas. Yay for photo buddies!!! She specializes in newborns and children, and I specialize in senior photography. We're a perfect match!

Halee Jo // Ulysses Kansas Newborn Photography

Introducing little Haylee Jo, the other Brittney Seger's new baby girl! Not only do Brittney and I share the same name, but we have the same style. We love leopard. So I surprised Brittney with a leopard wrap and put on a rhinestone headband :) and I'm in love with her newborn photos! She's just so perfect. Someday I will have a daughter!

Senior Guy Photo Ideas // Johnson City Kansas Senior Photography

The school year just finished! Now's the time for the upcoming 2015 seniors to plan their photo session.

To my senior guys, senior photography sessions can be difficult to plan. Picking locations and clothing isn't really your thing.  Don't worry! I have some great ideas to make your senior session a little easier :)

Hobby Theme Senior Photos

Think of all the hobbies you're interested in. Woodworking, welding, car restoring. Name them all! Hobbies can be incorporated with tools, equipment, clothing, and location. Adrian farms with his family, so we used a farm for his senior photo session!

Career Theme Senior Photos

Adrian is going off to college in the fall and entering the tractor program. We were already at a farm so we took some shots near the tractors. Think about your future career. If you're gonna be a pilot, how about some planes? For the future architect, use an interesting building in town. A career-focused session is an easy way to show off your interests without being too obvious. 

Sports Theme Senior Photos

Sports take up your life in high school. They define you! Incorporate each sport into your session to showcase your talent and remember what kept you so busy during the school year.

Your senior photo shoot should be fun and full of personality. Don't let the planning intimidate you!

Newborn Hospital & Lifestyle Photography // Johnson City Kansas Photographer

Baby Jamison was born in record-breaking time. Like 2 hours and dad almost missed it! And he is so cute and so perfect. I'm so happy I got to capture these images! They're only this small for a little bit. And this isn't something you'd want to miss. 

PS. Look at how amazing Darla looks in the hospital! I'm pretty sure after I delivered I was a hot mess ;)

Also, their home is gorgeous! Like straight from a magazine. Perfect for the lifestyle session I envisioned.
